# Directions:

01 - Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch cubes.

03 - Roll each tofu cube in panko breadcrumbs to coat thoroughly.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 400°F and spray the basket with cooking spray or brush with oil.

07 - Transfer cooked tofu nuggets to a large bowl, pour the warm glaze over, and toss to coat evenly.
08 - Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions. Serve immediately.

# Expert Suggestions:

01 -
  • They're crispy on the outside and tender inside without a trace of that spongy tofu texture everyone complains about.
  • The honey-sriracha glaze is bold enough to satisfy cravings but balanced enough that even spice-shy guests reach for seconds.
  • Honestly, they come together faster than ordering takeout, and your kitchen smells incredible in the process.
02 -
  • Wet tofu will steam, not fry—pressing it properly is the difference between crispy nuggets and disappointing sponge, and it's worth the extra five minutes.
  • Shake the basket halfway through cooking; I ignored this once and ended up with one side perfectly golden and the other pale, never again.
03 -
  • If you don't have an air fryer, you can bake these on a lightly oiled sheet at 200°C for 20–22 minutes, rotating halfway through; they won't be quite as crispy, but they'll still be delicious.
  • Make the glaze thinner if you want it more like a drizzle, or let it reduce another minute or two if you prefer it thick and clingy.
